Shelf life
Battery shelf life is the length of time a battery can remain in storage without losing its capacity after it has been fully charged. So EcoFlow power stations should last a year in storage without it being used after it has been fully charged before it loses its capacity.
Cycle life
A charge cycle is a complete charge(100%) and discharge(0%) on a rechargeable battery (going from 100% to 0%). However, the number of battery cycles does not mean the number of charges. If the battery is only partially discharged, and still has battery power remaining, it won't count as a battery cycle when recharged, and what is calculated is the cumulative discharge. For example, if you discharge the battery from 100% to 50%, and the next time, you discharge it from 50% to 0%, and then that counts as one battery cycle.
A cycle life of 800 cycles to 80+% capacity means that the power station will still work after the 800 cycles but the capacity will drop to about 80% of the original one.
